Our Fundraising Manager Clare Wichbold is moving to pastures new after five and a half years working in fundraising at The Courtyard.
She’s not retiring, she’s going to spend her time doing local history research. After the success of her first book about the Herefordshire suffrage campaign, is planning another book for 2025. However, Clare won’t be a stranger, she plans to come back with her husband Dave for breakfast movies and has promised that her next book launch will be at The Courtyard!
Clare said: ‘Thankyou to everyone who’s supported me while I’ve been working at The Courtyard. 2023 also marks my 25th anniversary working in fundraising in Herefordshire, so it’s a good time to finish and pursue my research interests.’
Chief Executive Ian Archer said: ‘Clare has been Fundraising Manager for The Courtyard since August 2018 and I would like to thank Clare for her invaluable contributions and dedication during her time with us. I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Clare as she embarks on a well-deserved retirement from The Courtyard, Clare reliably informs me that she isn’t retiring but will be working on research and writing her next book. Clare, may your retirement be a long one and full of new adventures, joy and happiness. You will be missed by everyone at The Courtyard.’
