In July 2024, The Courtyard’s Bromyard Youth Theatre dazzled audiences with their enchanting rendition of Roald Dahl’s beloved classic, “The BFG,” at The Conquest Theatre. The young cast, ranging from 5 to 16 years old, proved that big talent comes in all sizes!
Tackling a tale of giants, dreams, and royal feasts is no small task, but these budding actors rose to the challenge. Their creativity and teamwork shone through as they brought the whimsical world of the Big Friendly Giant to life on stage.
A Phizzwhizzing Performance
The audience response was nothing short of spectacular. Viewers were captivated by the high-caliber performances, with one attendee commenting, “Excellent production and thoroughly entertaining. Every single person was brilliant, you must have all worked so hard.” Another praised the show as “really impressive,” while a third declared it “Fantastic… and so well put together.”
But perhaps the most heart-warming feedback came from the youngest fans. One parent shared that their child, Mabel, left the theatre “full of excitement” and newly inspired by the magic of live performance.
