New Wheelchairs for The Courtyard! Continuing our commitment to Accessibility and Sustainability.
We’re delighted to announce that The Courtyard has recently received three brand new wheelchairs, generously donated by TPG Disable Aids, one of our valued Business and Supporters Club members.
These new wheelchairs will enhance our accessibility offerings, ensuring that all our visitors can fully enjoy the diverse range of performances, exhibitions, and events that make The Courtyard such a vibrant part of Hereford’s cultural landscape.
In keeping with our commitment to sustainability and community support, we’ve arranged for our previous wheelchairs to be donated to veterans of the Ukraine war, where they will continue to provide essential mobility assistance to those in need.
Our dedication to reuse and reduce doesn’t stop there. We’re also pleased to share that our previous changing units have found a new purpose at a specialist school in Powys, supporting their facilities and resources.
By finding new homes for equipment that still has plenty of life left, we’re minimising waste while maximising community benefit.
